LIVE MUSIC: FRANK DISKIN

LIVE MUSIC: FRANK DISKIN

At the age of 12 Frank’s brother taught him his first guitar chords and introduced him to the music of the Beatles, The Eagles, America, and many other great Classic Rock/Folk groups. So when it came time to start choosing music to cover for an acoustic project his mind naturally went back to those days. He not only wanted to please the audience but wanted to play music that meant something to him personally. As he developed his repertoire he began to discover newer songs (newer to him anyway) that spoke to him. The result is a song list that spans more than 4 decades!

We first heard Frank play at another beverage establishment and enjoyed his set. We invite you to come listen and maybe even dance a bit!

Brews and Beats. Taps and Taps. Whatever we call it, our Drum Circle with Jimbo Talbot is going to be a pounding good time. Don't quite know what a drum circle is? Sometimes called a Boomba or a Luau, we gather in a circle with percussion instruments and following the direction of our facilitator, Jimbo, we drum and tap and bang to produce rhythm and sounds that can soothe or release tension or just have a dang good time.

Brews and Beats: Sunday Jan 12, 3 pm. $25 includes drumming, a drink and snacks. Bring a friend and save. $40 for two. Get your tickets today...

HOMECOMING CONCERT: VADA MARCH

Wrap up your Thanksgiving holiday with a homecoming concert by Vada March.

Vada is a singer-songwriter from Upstate New York. Gigging for many years, she has played around the atea extensively - including many gigs in the Mohawk Valley. Although her artistry is described by some as a "female Ed Sheeran" and the "up and coming strong female Alanis Morissette of her generation", her "sweetly soulful" voice is uniquely her own. Drawing inspiration from an eclectic range of genres and artists, Vada continues to prove that the singer-songwriter genre does not need to be a monotonous one.
