Quarter to Orange is an up and coming bluegrass band in Central New York featuring Aaron Ingersoll on mandolin, Cody Witherell on banjo and dobro, Shayla Witherell on guitar, and Jameson Dunham on bass. They play everything from the founding fathers of bluegrass to the progressive pickers of today, and feature some original music.
Aaron Ingersoll, from Pulaski, has been playing bluegrass, gospel, and country music
for several years in New York. Cody and Shayla Witherell, from Madison, have been playing together as the duet 11 Strings for 15 years in Northern and Central New York. They also play with the country group ’Stache the Mic. Jameson Dunham is a working musician in Oneida. He is a lesson instructor, recording engineer, and a sideman for multiple local bands.
The band enjoys playing out at Central New York establishments and looks forward to playing to their growing fanbase.
